Our mission will always be to serve classic Mexican dishes prepared with the sophistication of a fine dining restaurant in a casual and approachable manner.
Tocolo Cantina serves refined, modern Mexican food in a friendly, high-service, and casual atmosphere. The restaurant space was designed to merge the modern elements of a California eatery with those of a Mexican cantina to create a warm and inviting feel. It is fit with encaustic tile, copper walls, a lively bar in the center of the room, and a hydraulic garage door that forms an outdoor canopy when opened. We aim to provide the best Modern Mexican dining experience on Long Island.
Our menu incorporates both traditional Mexican fare and our own modern interpretations of customary dishes. The menu’s mix of small and large plates, as well as its two large communal dining tables, hopes to inspire long celebrations over food.
Since no great cantina is complete without a lively bar and lofty cocktail program, Tocolo Cantina promises to deliver the best margaritas and sangrias around. The bar offers delicious specialty drinks, as well as a large selection of premium tequilas and mezcals.
Tocolo Cantina was rated “Excellent” by The New York Times and “Very Good” by Newsday. We strive to deliver the best Mexican food on Long Island.
Join us at the Bar Monday through Friday for Happy Hour 12pm to 7pm and each day in the dining room from 12pm to 5pm for our Lunch Happy Hour and our Two-Course Prix-Fixe lunch special! Happy Hour is all day on Sunday!
Taco Tuesday runs every Tuesday throughout the restaurant from 3pm to close. We offer 3 tacos and a margarita, sangria or beer for $15. Our Taco Tuesday special also runs at the bar Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3pm to 6pm. Check out our Happy Hour menu for more info!
We serve an authentic Mexican Brunch every Saturday and Sunday starting at 11:30am. Featuring items such as Tres Leches French Toast, Huevos Rancheros and a Breakfast Burrito. Make it a Bottomless Brunch* for $20 add’tl.
